Yesterday, I was checking my account balance and realize it’s finally time to do some serious shopping! Thankfully, the weather has been great in Greece for the past week and it was suitable to wear pieces from my summer wardrobe! That might be the situation for a lot of you, too; that’s why I’ll try to put all the Autumn and Winter trends together to help you decide what to buy! The article might seem a little out-of-date for the fashionistas since it’s already November, but I hope it will be really helpful to the rest of you, guys; especially with the holiday season coming!
Take
a look at this season’s trends...
1.
Fur: First of all, I want to state that I’m
against the use of real fur, but I feel obligated to share this huge trend that
has emerged from the runways and it’s about to enter our fashion lives this
winter! This trend is definitely for “bold” fashionistas, because it can put
you to the top of the absolute outfits or bury you to the bottom! You can
choose the safe road by wearing fur accessories like gloves, scarves or clothes
with little fur details on them (always one thing at a time!) or go for the
full fur coat! Hopefully faux!

2.
Olive Color: Military uniforms have been a great
inspiration for the fashion industry for a long time; we’ve seen loads of
military themed collections. This year, designers suggest the olive color in
many different shades. It’s a great choice that can help you create a classy
and diachronic outfit! If you are really young, don’t be afraid to try this
trend! It can only make you look wiser, enchanting and more masculine! Not bad!

4. Color blocking: Another huge trend is color
blocking! In a quick web definition “Color blocking is a
technique where blocks of various fabrics are sewn together to create clothing
with a few different solid colors…” Personally, I believe you can color-block
successfully by using these solid colors on two pieces, too; for example on
pants and t-shirts.

5. Brogue
Boots: If you are looking for a winter pair of shoes, you must definitely
choose boots! The newcomers in the shoe department are brogue boots; a new
edition of the classic brogue shoe (my personal favorite!) originating in
Scotland and Ireland!
7. Oversizing:
Another great trend this year, launched by many designers is oversizing;
wearing pants, tops or coats that look big on you! I’m actually having a
difficulty to embrace this trend although I think it looks really “forward” on
others! You can follow this trend in your own terms, like I do, by wearing
oversized hoodies, outdoor jackets or coats!

8. Accessories:
Another great feature of winter clothing is accessories! You can create a
unique style by wearing oversized scarves, leather (cutoff) gloves and great
hats. I always choose a casual gray beanie hat for my everyday outfit; goes
great with a pair of big, tortoise glasses! And last but not least...

flattering for men and take us a step forward! Don’t be afraid to experiment on
your style and be the inspiration others are looking for. Have a great and
stylish week!
