My 14+1 Favorite ZARA Items for Spring|Summer 2014

A few days ago, the huge spanish retailer -ZARA- launched the new Spring Lookbook for MAN (You can, also, read the related post here). Taking the opportunity, I want to present you my favorite Spring | Summer items, including jackets, shirts, trousers, bags and, of course, shoes!

H&M Spring 2014 Lookbook-Video Release

A few days ago, h&m released two exclusive videos as a first preview of the upcoming Spring 2014 Collection. The videos include backstage footage of the lookbook photo shoot and a quick demonstration of the twenty-six different -male and female- looks.

A Beautiful Journey

“The world is a book and those who do not travel read only one page.” St. Augustine used to say. Thankfully, I was lucky to enjoy a trip to the United Kingdom and read one more chapter, half a year ago. I was really excited to visit my best friend, who studies there, and learn about the culture, the architecture, the people, the life and, of course, the fashion of the UK.

Fashion is a word a lot of people have in mind painted with the brightest, happiest and “sparkliest” colors. The term represents beauty and glamour, but, although it brings positive thoughts and images to everyone, sometimes looks unapproachable to a lot of us in a financial way.

That’s actually partially right, because, behind the word “fashion”, there’s a huge industry of haute couture creations, expensive footwear, avante-garde brands, glamourous events, etc. that only a few of us can participate in. But, as the 16th President of United States Abraham Lincoln used to say, “We can complain because rose bushes have thorns, or rejoice because thorn bushes have roses”.

H&M Designer Collaborations

Huge amount of fashionistas maintain the desire to buy pieces from their favorite designer brands, which is sometimes impossible. Only few people can walk into a brand store and buy besides looking the gorgeous creations.

That thought must have popped on the minds of the people working for the Swedish colossus H&M, when in 2004 they began their famous designer and celebrity collaborations; sixteen collaborations in only nine years.

Editor's Letter

It’s been almost a month since the day I finally decided to start my own blog; something I dreamed about since the first two years of university. Unfortunately, I used to convince myself I wasn’t able to do it, sometimes because of time and others because of where I live; in a small city - away from all the major events of fashion happening in my country.

Surfing the web and reading a lot of helping and inspiring articles (a huge thank you to all the fellow bloggers) proved me wrong, because if you really want to begin something you can get support from your creativity and uniqueness; the only way to create something that will -hopefully- stand out and give you the opportunity to communicate with people and start your wonderful journey in the fashion industry!

That’s why I decided to overcome the difficulties and the lack of time, and work on this project with all my heart! I highly suggest you find what you really love in life and do it, because at the end of the day it’s so refreshing and revitalizing! 

And of course a “traveller” needs good company; I’m talking about you guys! I really hope we can develop a relationship between us, share our experiences and inspire each other! And, I truly need your support to accomplish that!
